I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Rice University, Jones Graduate School of Business.
My research focuses on understanding how accounting rules impact firm decision-making. Among other topics, I have explored how goodwill accounting can shape the M&A market and how loan loss measurement rules influence bank lending decisions.
Outside of research, I am an avid skier, enthusiastic swimmer, and hobby baker.
